Join the family at Paracombe Premium Perry and Chamberlain orchards for a day in the life of a pear grower.
You will gain daily insights into our commercial orchard and learn different processes such as pruning, thinning, picking pear trees, grading fruit, blending cider, or a combination of the above!
Every day is different, but the educational experience of joining our family will never change. You will be their special assistant for the day and finish off with a house-cooked meal by the Shed Door team, with any dietary requirements catered for. It may be their house-made sourdough pizza cooked in a wood oven, starring the pears that you helped look after, or maybe a house-smoked extravaganza accompanied by world-class drinks from the region.
It is Aussie farming and hospitality at its best and an agricultural tourism experience not to miss!
